Dumpling-Making Fundraiser – Sip, Fold, Support!

Join us on Saturday, May 24 for Sip and Dumpling Night, a fun and hands-on fundraising event in support of our Wargrave crew heading to the Royal Henley Regatta! Under the expert guidance of Mercs’ very own Roy Zhang, you’ll learn the art of dumpling-making from scratch—and yes, you’ll get to eat your delicious creations too.
This workshop includes a complimentary drink and post-class access to an open bar to keep the good times rolling. Come solo or bring a mate—either way, it’s a great way to back our athletes and enjoy a flavoursome evening.

Henley Trivia + Special Barrel Night – Saturday 31st May
Join us at the Mercantile Clubhouse next Saturday, May 31 for a relaxed and rowdy night in support of our Henley campaign! The Henley Special Barrel + Trivia Night will kick off from 6:00pm, featuring free entry, an open bar, a classic meat raffle, and a few rounds of light-hearted trivia. It’s the perfect way to catch up with your crew, enjoy a few drinks, and help raise funds for our athletes heading to the Royal Henley Regatta. No need to dress up—just bring your mates and your best trivia game. See you there!
Mercantile’s Royal Henley Fundraiser – Saturday 14th June, Support Our Crews!
Mercantile Rowing Club is proud to present The Royal Henley Gala 2025—our premier fundraising event supporting the club’s Wargrave, Diamond Jubilee, and Prince Philip Cup crews as they prepare to represent us at Henley Royal Regatta this July. This cocktail-style evening will include a crew presentation, live and silent auctions, raffle draws, and a dance floor to round out the celebrations!
We are currently seeking donatable items for the silent auction—think experiences, vouchers, wine, memorabilia, or services. Every item donated helps get our athletes one step closer to the start line at Henley.
We’re also calling on volunteers to help run the event on the night. Whether you’re a club member, friend, or supporter, we’d love your help. An organising committee meeting will be held Tuesday at 6:30pm, and all are welcome.
