VIC STATES REGATTA

  • Mercantile Topped the medal tally
  • 18.375 Golds, 6.5 Silvers, 8 bronzes
  • State Titles in: MLW2-, FO2-, FClub2-, FO1x, FClub1x, FU211x, MO8+, MClub8+, FO8+, FClub8+, MLW2x, FClub2x, MClub4-, MLW4-, FO4x-, FO4-, FClub4-
  • Mercantile also claimed many minor medals in several other events
  • Big wins include both the Men’s and Women’s Open 8’s, Men’s and Women’s Club 4’s and all 3 women’s single scull events (Open, Club and U21)

NATIONALS

  • Nationals was an exciting regatta hosted at Lake Barrington in Tasmania, for a week.
  • Mercantile were 3rd on the overall points score unfortunately going behind MUBC by 2 points
  • Gathered medals in 27 events, and had participants in 28 crews that medalled
  • On Sunday Mercantile had 20 athletes and 1 coach represents Victoria in the interstate regatta. This saw Victoria win the John Coates Australian Cup for the first time since 2016. Mercantile was a part of wins in the Penrith Cup (Jordan Roberts), Noel F Wilkinson Cup (James Simpson, Alex Marro) and the Kings Cup (Fergus Hamilton, Austin Reinehr, Jack Robertson, Angus Widdicombe)
